My Own House Centipede Experience

Let me quickly tell you a quick personal story about a time when I woke up in the middle of a warm June night, thirsty. I walked haphazardly into the kitchen for a glass of water and was startled to a fully alert panic the second I hit the lights.

There, right in the middle of my white kitchen floor were two dark, inch-and-a-half long centipedes doing whatever it is that centipedes do with one another in the middle of the night.

They parted ways the instant the room was illuminated. One ran between the sink and dishwasher with creepy-fast speed. But it was the other one – the one that darted right at my bare feet – that really caused me to jump.

I know it wasn’t trying to attack me (at least I think I know that), but the fact remained… I was freaked. And I knew I had to take immediate action to prevent my family and me from being faced with any more heart-stopping moments like this one. I will reveal the action plan that actually worked in just a moment. First, I think it would be wise for us to discuss the creatures themselves.
